COVID-19 Update 04/02/2020

On March 31, 2020 Governor Baker extended the stay at home order to be in effect through May 4th, 2020.

The MA SOS research room remains closed to the public. PCS will still be able to pick up and drop off documents and requests for processing. We will continue to file electronically, and via fax.  Most services will remain up and running, with the expectation of increased turnaround times due to the impact of these procedures and reduced- in house staff at the MA SOS.

PCS remains open and available. We are well equipped to handle most work items remotely, and we have limited staff in office ready to address items that need physical handling.

The MA Court system remains closed to the public. Registries are still accepting e-filings for applicable docs.

As of this update - Delaware SOS is still operating fairly normal.

Our friends at the National Public Records Research Association (NPRRA) have posted a state by state chart of jurisdiction updates related to closures and access limitations.  The chart will be updated as news comes in over the coming days and weeks. We recommend saving this link and checking back frequently for the most up to date version.

You are always welcome and encouraged to reach out to PCS directly with any questions about specific states, orders and anticipated impact of access restrictions.
